Workspaces are department-level containers within an organisation. Matters, documents, and templates live inside workspaces.

Create a workspace

Requires Partner or Org Admin role.

Open Workspaces

Go to Settings, then Workspaces.

Click New workspace

Enter a name and optional description.

Add members

Assign workspace members and optionally a Workspace Admin.

Workspace Admin role

Workspace Admins manage settings and membership for their assigned workspace. They cannot access firm-wide automations, integrations, or org admin settings. Org Admins and Partners can access all workspaces regardless of membership.

Switch workspace

Use the workspace switcher in the top bar to change the active workspace. Custo threads, matter lists, and document libraries scope to the active workspace.
