Open a document

Navigate to the document you want to share.

Click Share via portal

Open the portal link creation panel.

Select access type

Choose the permission level for this link.

Configure settings

Set an expiry date, maximum views, or leave open. Click Create link.

Resource packs

Bundle multiple documents into one portal link. Set a primary document and attach additional resources. The client sees all items in a single portal session.
  • Expiry date: link stops working after the set date
  • Maximum views: link deactivates after the view count is reached
  • Revoke: immediately disable an active link
  • Reissue: create a new link with the same settings

Activity tracking

The portal hub shows who viewed each document and when. Open Portal activity on the document or client record to review access logs.

Share via WhatsApp

From the portal hub, click Share via WhatsApp to send the portal link directly to the client’s phone number.

Portal chat

Clients can message your firm from the portal without a Largence account. Portal messages appear in Channels under the portal thread for that client and in the portal conversation view.

What the client sees

Clients open links at portal.largence.com. The experience is firm-branded. No Largence account is required.
Clients who receive a portal link do not create a Largence account. Their access is scoped to exactly what the link permits.
