Record a data breach

Open Compliance

Go to Compliance, then NDPR.

Click Record breach

Enter the breach details: date discovered, nature of breach, data subjects affected, and containment actions taken.

Monitor the timer

The 72-hour countdown starts when you save the record.

Record NITDA notification

Once notification is sent, mark the breach as reported and dismiss the timer.
Under NDPR 2019 and NITDA regulations, a qualifying data breach must be reported within 72 hours of becoming aware of it. The timer in Largence reflects this deadline. Missing it has regulatory consequences.

The timer appears on the breach record and on the Compliance dashboard. Dismiss it only after NITDA notification is confirmed sent.

Data processing register

Add processing activities with purpose, legal basis, data categories, retention period, and processor details. Review and update the register when processing activities change.
