# Understanding your plan

> Compare plan tiers, generation limits, entitlements, and the Edge trial.

## Plan tiers

Values are taken from the billing service. Unlimited is shown as unlimited in the product when the limit is `-1`.

## What counts as a generation

One generation equals one AI drafting session via the **Generate** surface. Each completed document draft consumes one generation from your monthly allowance.

Clause refinements within an existing generated document do not consume additional generations. Research sessions do not count as generations.

## Entitlements

Entitlements are org-level feature gates separate from role permissions.

## 14-day Edge trial

Clicking any paid plan activates a 14-day Edge-level trial. No credit card is required for Origin Free.

During the trial, your organisation receives Edge entitlements: client portal, agent mode, 500 generations per month, and up to three workspaces.

When the trial ends without a subscription, the account reverts to Origin Free. All data is retained.

## The Learn programme

Learn is available to verified law students and legal aid organisations who apply at [largence.com/learn](https://largence.com/learn).

Approved Learn accounts receive 50 generations per month, Custo access, and the Evidence workspace. Generated documents include an educational watermark: *Generated for educational purposes using Largence. Not for commercial use.*

Learn excludes commercial client billing, eSigning, and the client portal.
